Objectives
- To understand the basic atmospheric chemical composition in the south side of the Himalayas.
- To unfold the possibility of trans-Himalaya transport of pollutants from south Asia to the Himalayas by ground-based observation sampling and analysis.
- To assess climate and environmental effects of pollutants in the Himalayas.
- To understand the ecosystem health and impacts.
- To explore climate change impacts on environmental pollutants .
- Study and Research on Environment, Ecology and its inter relations with Human Dimension.
- Research on Impacts of Pollution and Climate Change at Higher Himalayas including Sampling, operation of Lab and Analysis of outcomes.
- Implement Integrate Water Resource Management Program at community level to enhance Water security and conserve watershed.
- Study of Ground Water and impacts of Urbanization on Water Security.
- Implement on Eco System Based Adaption Measures for Disaster Risk Reduction (Eco-DRR).
- Implement Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) program.
- Organization Training, Workshops, Conferences and awareness program on Pollution Control, Resource management and Disaster Risk Reduction at regional and local level.
- Co-ordinate with Governmental Authorities and National/International Government Organization.
